The Design Process

This page has been for suggested designs, WASP symbols, elements, discussion and progress toward our expected Award-Winning Design . . . Please feel free to send in Ideas, and comments, which we will try to post as this page takes shape. ELEMENTS (will add more): Remembrance of the 38, First US Female Military Aviators, "Breaking Barriers", "Every Airplane Flown", "Love of Flying", "Eyes on the Stars", "60 Million Miles", Critical Ferrying of Aircraft, Gunnery Training, Test Pilots, Equal Performance with Men, "Wingtip To Wingtip with your Brothers!", Example to Men Pilots, the "Gold Medal"

Of course it is impossible to get all those elements in a float . . . this is the selected design we hope to produce, making use of a rotating image barrel to display what we want to convey . . . (Pictures still being selected)

If you want to help decorate the float, please see our Decorate! Page.

(This photo may provide an excellent image for the float, representing the leadership of "the First US Female Military Aviators" and their hope that others will know and will follow -- also might provide a place where WASP could sit on the float) Click on to display in full format
