In WWII, as our country mobilized for war, women dreamed of how to serve their country.

Few realize that this dream came true for a group of women aviators who were allowed to train and fly every military aircraft built for that conflict. And they went on to fly over 60 million miles as test pilots, ferry pilots, target training pilots, and instructors, setting an example for both men and women, with their courage and skill that now inspires every young girl who dreams of serving her country, perhaps to fly, unlimited by past discrimination and fear, in this year when our nation has finally lifted the barriers previously limiting their dreams and opportunities.

This is the story of the WASP . . . women who dreamed, realized that dream, and still dream of how to serve this wonderful nation where dreams can and do come true!
